We participated at the competition of the Formula SAE Italy from the 11.-14.09.2015. The event took place at the Autodrom Riccardo Paletti in Varano de‘ Melegari.

After 15 hours the team arrived in Varano. First the camp with our new team tent, sponsored by our main sponsor NXP Semiconductors was set up. In the afternoon the team could prepare the box.
After the team registration we have to present as one of the first teams our business plan. At the same time the car was prepared for the technical inspection. In the evening we already have two of the inspection stickers.
The day began with the Design Event, where we introduce to experienced engineers our technical concept. Afterwards we had the Cost Event. Before the lunchbreak we were able get back in to the Scrutineering. In the evening we had all scrutineering stickers and could prepare the egn15 for the Dynamics.
In the morning session were Acceleration and SkidPad on. We started in two disciplines and even in the rain we could bring good times. (Acceleration with Slicks and SkidPad with Wets)
After the lunchbreak we were strengthened and ready for autocross. As soon as the track had dried a little bit, we have sent our first driver on the track. and again the egn15 did a good job.
At the last day of the events it is time for the Endurance. In the morning the combustion teams were on the track, so we had enough time to prepare our car and enjoy the race with the other teams.
Because of our good Autocross results we started as one of the last E-Teams in the afternoon. After the last combustion team we went to the dynamic area an waited for our slot. The team cheered the Dynamic crew on, when they rolled the egn15 to the start line.
Our first driver made good times tightly behind the top an also managed to overtake some other cars.
We made the driver change on time. The officials checked the car. We were heading to the starting line when one of the officials discovered that our antirolbar has broken. Therefore they disqualified us and the Endurance, unfortunately, was finished for us.
The event ended with the Award ceremony.
